Ons Omgewing
By Laerskool Stulting skep ons ‘n versorgende omgewing sodat almal tot hul potensiaal kan ontwikkel en verbind is tot die uitoefening van uitnemendheid in alle aspekte van opvoeding.
By ons skool ontwikkel ons die kern waardes van Geduld (Gr. RR/R), Liefde (Gr. 1), Verdraagsaamheid (Gr. 2), Eerlikheid (Gr. 3), Vreugde (Gr. 4), Integriteit (Gr. 5), Respek (Gr. 6), Deursettingsvermoe (Gr. 7) en Rekenskap (Leerlingraad).
Ons professionele leerkragte glo daarin dat ons kinders ‘n balans in die lewe moet handhaaf. Daarom poog ons om soveel moontlik geleenthede aan ons leerders te bied. Dit is ook deel van ons missie-doelstellings dat ons leerders aan geestelike-, akademiese-, sport- en kultuuraktiwiteite moet deelneem.
Ons nooi ons ouers uit om betrokke te wees by die skool en in ‘n vennootskap saam met die personeel hande te vat om te verseker dat elke kind tot sy potensiaal kan ontwikkel.

Our professional educators believe that children should maintain a balanced lifestyle. Therefore we aim to expose our learners to a variety of opportunities. It is also one of our mission statements that learners should participate in spiritual, academic, sport and cultural activities.
We invite our parents to participate and become involved in our school and to join in a partnership together with the staff to ensure that every child develops to their full potential.
With our motto Shine your Light we acknowledge our responsibility towards our Creator and give honour to our Heavenly Father for providing each person associated with the school – learners, parents, educators and principals – with their own unique talents.

Die missie van Laerskool Stulting
Om die opvoedingstaak vanuit ‘n Christelike perspektief uit te voer sonder om teen ander geloofsoortuigings te diskrimineer.
Om te streef na hoë akademiese standaarde.
Om ‘n verskeidenheid sport- en kultuuraktiwiteite aan ons leerders bekend te stel en prestasie daarin aan te moedig.

Ethos
It is the wish of the school community that the school should be based on a Christian ethos. Therefore each day starts with devotions from the Bible led by the class teacher in the privacy of each class. Assemblies and other official gatherings are also opened by devotions from the Bible. Teachers also teach their learners from this perspective.
As a school we are also aware of other religions and will not discriminate against any learner or family from another religion. They can, if they so choose are excused from assemblies or class during devotions without any action, which may be deemed discriminatory, be taken against them.
Etos
Dit is die skoolgemeenskap se wens dat die skool se etos op Christenskap gegrond moet wees. Daarom word daar elke oggend in die privaatheid van die klaskamer en onder leiding van die klasonderwyser met skriflesing en gebed vanuit die Bybel geopen. Saal-en ander offisiële byeenkomste word ook deur skriflesing en gebed vanuit die Bybel geopen. Onderwysers onderrig ook hul klasse vanuit hierdie perspektief.
Ons as skool is egter ook bewus van ander gelowe en diskrimineer geensins teen leerders of gesinne van ander gelowe nie. Hulle kan, indien verkies, die klas of saal tydens skriflesing verlaat sonder dat enige aksies, wat as diskriminerend van aard vertolk kan word, teen hulle geneem sou word nie.

Ons Skool
Fasiliteite en Hulpdienste
Laerskool Stulting beskik oor geskikte fasiliteite om klasse vanaf Gr. RR tot Gr. 7 aan te bied. Die gebou is spasieus en modern. Die klaskamers is ook ruim. Die saal is ook geskik vir byeenkomste, binnenshuise sport- en kultuuraktiwiteite. Verder beskik ons skool oor ‘n goed-toegeruste mediasentrum / biblioteek, rekenaarsentrum, kodering- en robotikaklas, kunsklas, musiekklas, tegnologie / houtwerkkamer en wetenskaplaboratorium.
Daar is verder ook geskikte sportfasiliteite vir rugby, krieket, netbal, atletiek en tennis.
Our School
Facilities en Services
Stulting Primary School has sufficient facilities to accommodate learners from Gr. RR to Gr. 7. The building is spacious and modern. The hall is also suitable for sport and cultural activities. Our school also has a well-equipped media centre / library, computer centre, coding and robotics classroom, art room, technology / woodwork room and science laboratory.
There are also sport facilities to accommodate rugby, cricket, netball, athletics and tennis.
Remediërende onderwys:
Leerders, met vorderingsprobleme in alle fase, word deur hul onderwysers geidentifiseer. Remedierende klasse word gratis in die middae vir hierdie leerders aangebied.
First Aid:
Various educators are qualified in basic first aid. First Aid for cuts, bruises and minor injuries etc. are treated at the admin office. Senior learners also assist with basic first aid during breaks.
Kliniese Sielkundiges
Die skool maak van beide departementele en privaatpraktyk sielkundiges gebruik om jaarlikse IK toetse vir die GR. 6 leerders af te neem. Dieselfde persone word ook gebruik sou die skool bevind dat enige ander leerder vir ‘n geldige rede geevalueer behoort te word.
Assemblies:
Assemblies are held weekly. Assemblies are formal gatherings and pupils are expected to behave with the necessary respect.
Buitemuurse beleid:
By Stulting glo ons daarin dat ons leerders aktief aan die bedrywighede van die skool moet deelneem. Om die rede verwag ons van ons leerders om aan ten minste een somer- en een wintersport- en / of kultuuraktiwiteit deel te neem.
Code of Conduct:
The school has a Code of Conduct approved by all the role players within the school. Learners are expected to abide by the behaviour described therein.
Skooltasse:
Skooltasse moet die skooluniform komplimenteer. Skooltasse moet ferm wees sodat skoolboeke en ander besittings nie beskadig sal word nie. Skooltasse met graffiti word nie toegelaat nie.
Gedragskode:
Die skool beskik oor ‘n gedragskode wat deur al die rolspelers in die skool goedgekeur is. Daar word van die leerders verwag om hul gedrag daarby te hou.
Cell Phones:
The possession of cell phones by Stulting learners on school premises is an act of grace and only allowed under certain conditions. Cell phones must be switched off during official school hours – breaks included. All communication during school hours, between home (parent/guardian) and learner must take place via the school office.
Verjaarsdae
Leerders word toegelaat om op hul verjaarsdag met gewone klere skool toe te kom. Hulle word ook tydens saalbyeenkomste gelukgewens.
Tuck Shop:
The school has a well-equipped tuck-shop. It operates before school, during the two breaks, in the afternoons after school and during sport activities.
Afwesigheid:
Teenwoordigheidsregisters word daagliks gehou. Indien leerders afwesig is, moet ‘n brief van die ouer die kind vergesel op die dag wat hy na die skool terugkeer. Indien leerders vir 3 of meer agtereenvolgende dae afwesig is, is ‘n doktersbrief noodsaaklik op die dag wat die kind na die skool terugkeer.
Leerders wat afwesig was, is daarvoor verantwoordelik om alle agterstallige werk in te haal. Ouers moet toesien dat die agterstallige werk voltooi word.
After-Care Facilities:
After-care facilities are available to learners who cannot go home directly after school. This facility is on the school premises and managed as a private business. There are costs involved in this service.
Waardevolle items:
Items van waarde moet liefs nie skool toe gebring word nie. Die skool kan geen verantwoordelikheid neem vir enige waardevolle items wat verlore gaan of beskadig word nie.
School excursions:
The school undertakes class, grade, sport and / or cultural excursions from time to time. During these excursions the learners represent the school and must therefore behave accordingly. Permission slips for excursions and tours must be signed by parents / guardians before any excursion / tour may be attended by a learner.
Gaste by die skool:
Gaste word by die skool verwelkom. Alle gaste moet egter eers by die skoolkantoor rapporteer.
